foxtrotgps-dbg software package provides GTK+ mapping and GPS application (debug), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install foxtrotgps-dbg
foxtrotgps-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the foxtrotgps-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep foxtrotgps-dbg *
You will get with foxtrotgps-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
